I bought this cause I think it is a great idea to always have one and this one is very compact. It’s small, lightweight, and easy to tuck into a bag, which makes it really handy for travel. I’ve used it around the house, in the kitchen, and even brought it along to a hotel. The digital display is super clear and easy to read, so you always know what’s going on at a quick glance.What I like most is that it runs on batteries, so I don’t have to find an outlet or have cords, it just works wherever I put it. So I got this carbon monoxide alarm, because I just moved into a house that has gas in it. And I have never had gas in a house before and I just want to be safe. So we bought a few of them, it’s just super easy, you really just put the batteries in, do the little test and then hang them up just below the ceiling. I put mine in my laundry room because that’s where we have our gas water heater. That’s really the only place that we have gas in our house. So I put one in there and then I also put 1 in the room that’s connected to that laundry room just so I can be safe. But these are so inexpensive and it could be life saving! So,its more than worth! It’s really good quality and battery lasts a long time.

It’s small, convenient, and uses regular AAA batteries
Well I’m not sure if this carbon monoxide detector detects well or not because I haven’t had any carbon monoxide in my house thank goodness. But I can say that this detector is small and would be great to take on camping trips. I also like the fact that it uses AAA batteries and isn’t some rechargeable thing that you have to recharge all the time. It’s easy to keep around a few extra batteries if your power goes out and you have no way to charge something or if you’re like me and you forget to charge things it can be a real problem.I like that it has a gauge in the front so you know how many parts of carbon monoxide are in a air. Again I have no way of testing it to know if it’s really accurate but if it is that’s a wonderful feature.The price on this thing can’t be beat for under $20 and it looks nice and it’s small and you don’t hardly notice it taking up space in your home. This would be perfect for a camper or another small area.

Ordered twice and neither worked
Zero stars. I received the alarm, installed the batteries and nothing worked. Yes, I installed the batteries correctly. I returned it and ordered a second one. It arrived with a damaged LCD screen and again installed the batteries and again it didn’t work, so I returned it a second time. Don’t waste your time and money on this garbage product.
