This is easy to use and easy to install. Easy to understand instructions as well. Back was a bit hard to get off but it also is a good because no one like a loose batter cover. Great deal for two items. Gives us a piece of mind in our home

You need 2 double A betteries for each one. Comes in a 2 pack. Seems easy to use. Its not a smoke detector, this is to tell you when you have carbin monoxide buildup. They dont have to be hung on the wall, can be placed on a stand, table, shelf etc. Dont place to close to the gas heater. Makes a loud sound so youll know when it goes off

Awesome carbon monoxide detectors at a great price!!!
These CO detectors are great! You get a 2 pack for under $15!Now, they do not have all the ‘bells and whistles’ that other detectors offer at much higher prices – no continuous display or fancy multicolor screen showing temp and humidity..But, they are CO detectors! And that is what they do!!! LOL..The screen is normally dark, but you do see a green led flash every 30 seconds or so to conform that the detector is working, and the directions say that when the batteries get low, it will display a blinking red light.. 3 AAA batteries should last about 3 years!Alarm sounds at 50 PPM, 100 PPM, and 300 PPM, though I have not ‘tested’ these levels! LOL..There are ‘fancier’ CO detectors out there (at much higher cost), but the reason I have CO detectors is the same reason I have smoke detectors – to keep me safe!! I don’t need fancy displays in HD colors.. I just want an 85db alarm to alert me – even wake me up – if something is wrong, right??I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!!!

Bright LED flash at night is annoying.
OK, but the bright light flashes are annoying if you keep this in a sleeping area. An LED lights up on occasion to let you know the unit is alive. Unfortunately this will startle some sleepers awake.
