I read some positive reviews that said all you have to do is put your phone behind the cloth and call it or try to track with other device and if you can’t call it or track that means the material works! Right? WRONG! You have to wrap it at least three times before the material does its job. I did the test with my iphone and ipad:1. i wrapped my phone in it once and i could easily get a signal to and from it.2. wrapped phone twice and still the signal was there. 3. wrapped phone up 3 times and presto no signal.4. repeated process, but the time I wrapped my ipad and 3 times did the charm.CONCLUSION: The material is not thick enough to block the frequencies so triple or quadruple it up and works perfectly.So yes, this a good product and i recommend it. What ever you are using it for you can run your excitement easily by repeating what i did so you’ll know best how to apply to your project. The price on this material comes with a nominal fee so buying lots of it shouldn’t be a problem anyone. 👍To anyone who doubts this is needed get meter and use next to towers and then use it where there isn’t towers close by multiple times so you’ll know it’s accurate and see for yourself. The frequencies they put out are not benign, they malignant and they cause cancer.20 years ago NO ONE had tanitus (constant ringing in the ears) today probably 8 of 10 people who live in the city have it, at least when i asked people. When i lived out in the country for a year where there was almost towers it went away. It does block signals
I was skeptical at first about the efficacy of faraday fabric, and most importantly when someone describes an item as “military grade”. That phrase in itself causes me to be skeptical, since being prior service, “military grade” means “sold to lowest bidder”. I digress…I wanted to try this out as I had heard about car fobs being cloned from scammers. I tried this out and cut it out to the size that I wanted, sewed three sides, and then placed my car fob inside one of these bags. Low and behold, I was not able to unlock my car with the fob inside. So I take it that it does work. I then made a larger pouch and tried putting my ipad inside and it lost signal as well.

Was fraying (maybe I should have known). I didn’t expect it to be like Joanne’s Fabrics where it was fraying. It started coming apart immediately.

Soft Faraday fabric
This fabric is as described. It is soft, shiny and ready to wrap around yourself or your devices. Note that it doesn’t promise 100% blocking, because that’s not easily done and you’d need more than just the fabric to make that happen. But it does reduce signal which is what I wanted it for.For the price given its size and quality I consider this fabric a good value.
