No worries, EXCELLENT HUB!
So far so good. I’ve had this hub plugged in over a day now and everything works. This was a simple plug and play with nothing needed to be downloaded. The device is smaller in person compared to the size it appears as in the pictures and videos in the Amazon add which is great because it takes up very little desktop space. The device is cool to the touch, basically room temperature, with no feeling of warmth or heat generating from it. The hub is nicely built with a sound aluminum housing and what appears to be a sturdy 4ft cable connected to it with a USB-A at the end for plugging into your computer. The 4ft USB cord is plugged into my motherboard. My usage consists of a mouse and a keyboard plugged into this hub used on a daily basis for shopping, playing online games, watching movies and videos, listening to music on you tube and just everyday internet surfing. I plugged in a second mouse and both work together at the same time with no issues whatsoever. I can’t speak for individuals who have multiple heavy duty components requiring more power plugged into this at the same time, but for everyday average people who just bum around on the computer having fun and plug in a mouse, keyboard, and maybe a USB drive or something, then I can’t possibly see you folks having any problems with this USB hub. I love the fact, and reason I purchased it, that I no longer have to fuss with getting up and going behind my computer when I want to switch out mice or keyboards because this hub sits nicely on my desktop just an arms length away. I now have multiple USB-A, and multiple USB-C ports to use whenever I need them and I am very happy with this hub and would recommend it to a friend. UPDATE: It’s been over a week now and everything I said above still holds true. I ran a strip of black electrical tape with the end of it folded over to form a pull tab over the ports not being used so I can keep any dust or debris from settling in the ports that are not currently being used. FANTASTIC hub so far.

Very Reliable for Everything I’ve Charged
This has been a great hub. With so many products now using USB-C technology (especially Apple products), it was good to find a hub with both USB-A and USB-C ports. I have quite a few items that use USB for charging and all of them have charged with no problems with this hub. I use both a PC and an iMAC; am planning on buying another hub so I have one on each computer. Highly recommend.

Overall bandwidth is not good
This is OK until you plug too many things into it. In my case “too many” was three. Keyboard and mouse together was fine. Then I plugged in a thumb drive and it cut off my mouse and keyboard whenever the drive was busy. Now I’m not sure if I can plug in anything else at all, or might moving the mouse cut off the headset or something? This has made it much less useful.
