Compares to doctors lab work
I’ve been using this every month for the past 2 years and the results have been very close or the same as when the doctor test my A1C. The only complaint I have is occasionally you don’t get all the pieces needed to complete a test.

We’ve compared the results of several of these same-day A1C tests to the labs done on same day but results are received a day or two later. Consistently within .1 of a point. Very pleased with these for accuracy and ease of use.

Easy way to check A1C at home; after you botch a few tests learning it…..
The kit works as advertised but has a bit of a learning curve. I read the instructions and watched the video. Long story short, you have to make sure the sampler is seated fully into the reagent holder before shaking. An you have about 30 seconds to open the pouch, slip the disk in the reader and put in the sample…. It looked far easier on the video than it actually was. It will not work at all if done even a tiny bit off.Gave the kit 5 stars since the learning curve could have just been me….. But it is nice to be able to check our A1C at home in less than 10 mins.

Simple, easy, apparently accurate BUT . . . after using several of the tests, the screen on the analyzer wigged out and was unreadable – it seems to have improved after a couple more tests but wasted several tests before it started working again.
Tough Love –
5.8 with this, 5.7 at hospital lab
I wasn’t sure how accurate this would be but I followed instructions and tested at home one day, and at the hospital lab the next day. This tested at 5.8, hospital at 5.7. I’ll take that level of accuracy for immediate results!
