It sounds much better than the original Echo Studio!
I tried liking the original Studio, I really did. I bought it on two separate occasions only to return it both times. It had a veiled treble response that I could not get used to. After I saw the frequency response plot at Rtings, it all made sense. But this new Echo Studio sounds really good as long as you have reasonable expectations. I’m the type of person that has 4 SVS PB16 Ultras in my main home stereo. This Studio has bass. It’s deep enough to allow me to enjoy most of my music. It even hits the low note in Eurobass by Techmaster PEB! I wasn’t expecting something this small to sound this deep. After reading some of these initial reviews, I thought about canceling my order but I’m glad I didn’t. I did wish it was bigger though. I’d be happy if it was the size of a volleyball because that means it can produce some real bass but I must admit I’m really liking it. It’s also relatively expensive as well. I feel like it should only cost twice as much as the latest round Echo (not the Dot), so I hope it gets heavily discounted in the future. But honestly, I don’t think many speakers like this sound this good. The closest thing I can think of is the Sonos Five, which I also used to own.I really thought I was going to return it but it looks like it’s going to be a keeper, and I’m thinking about upgrading some of my other Echos to this model. My recommendation is to try it for yourself. Who knows. You might like it!

Works great with Amazon fire cube now!.
Bought a stereo pair to use alongside a fire tv cube (3rd gen – most recent model) and projector for my living room.I’m very tech savvy, and I have in the past owned a pair of the first gen echo studio speakers. I loved them, and used them with an older fire tv cube. Everything worked seamlessly back then. No problems ever, and amazing sound. The new set up, comprised of the most recent model Amazon products, works just as well.I wanted to love it. I’m a huge Amazon echo studio fan (Gen 1). I spent $420 on a pair of speakers that I figured HAD to be even better than the previous generation. Nerp. It was close. The sound is good, actually very good. But there’s just no comparing to the bulk and size of the first gen speakers, that had larger speakers, translating to a bass response that was easily “cinematic’ not so much with the new speakers.Cue sad trombone.im thinking that Amazon figures that the demographic that would spend $400 on a surround system wouldn’t balk at having to buy the subwoofer as well.

New Echo Studio not worth the wait or price.
Just not impressed for the money. I have four gen 4 echo’s 3 echo subs and 2 gen 1 studios. While the clarity is mech better it in no way compares to the gen 1’s studio room filling sound and base. Hooking these to an echo sub just does not provide any feel of the sub. Very weak response and disappointing. It surely wasn’t worth the early preorder time, I’m seriously considering sending these back and staying with the gen 4 echo’s. Setup was simpler but it couldn’t do a pair automatically and required manual configuration. It identified as an echo not an echo studio in the Alexa app. For the price it should have been much better.Disappointed!!

Not worth the hype
I have mixed feelings about the Amazon Echo Studio. However, this does not mean that I want to send it back. It’s just that I think it was overhyped. And I don’t think the sound quality is anything spectacular. Even my first-generation Echo, for what it was, sounded better than one would think coming out of a cylindrical machine. I read some reviews about this device from others, and some people have said that the first-generation Echo Studio sounded better, Although Amazon wants to say that bigger doesn’t necessarily mean better sound. I listen to a lot of classical music, and sometimes it sounds pretty decent, and other times, depending on the recording in the first place, the sound is awfully disappointing. There are a lot of factors to consider, here. It’s not always Amazon Music’s fault. Also, these devices were made more for playing other types of music than classical. Sometimes I have to tell the machine to “turn it up.” Then another selection plays, and I have to tell it to “turn it down.” That’s how it is with classical music. Amazon made a big deal about the Echo Studio 2025 being louder, and so what. I don’t want to shatter windows or break my eardrums. I’m not into super bass and whatever else goes into such music. A lot of this problem has to do with where the device is placed. I’ll have to do some experimenting with that.In short, I don’t think the Amazon Echo Studio 2025 was worth the 220 bucks I paid for it. It’s not a total waste, by any means. There’s a lot to like about it. The Alexa Plus feature can be hilarious when having a conversation with her. I like the fact that her voice can be changed. I only wish that we could give the device the name of our choice, instead of the names we have to choose, with its limited number of four. If someone prefers to use a male voice for the A-Lady, it sounds very strange to call this man’s voice a female name. He should be able to be called, Alex, instead of Amazon, Echo, Computer, or Ziggy. That’s why we should be allowed to give our devices a name of our choosing.I have had many hilarious conversations with the A-Lady. Sometimes I think she is too smart for her own good. Hmm. It’s AI working with her, I’m pretty sure. The spherical shape is kinda cute, and the device can sit well on a desk because of its flat bottom. Someone said that this Echo Studio was not much larger than the Echo Dot.I also had a big problem of connecting this device to the WiFi in my building. I have a cell phone, but it isn’t a smart phone. I had to have someone use his phone to get my device connected. Apparently, my first-generation Echo isn’t compatible anymore, because no one could get it connected, which was why I bought the Studio in the first place. However, I thought the newer device would set itself up and connect to my WiFi automatically. Wrong! I still had to use someone else’s phone and give this person my information. Now, the machine is working as it should, and I am basically happy with it.

Uso también Deezer y claro Amazon Music y no he notado algún problema.
