The ad for this product DOES NOT state that it has a lithium-ion battery. Any review to the contrary is an attempt to discredit this product. This is a high quality battery backup that produces a true sine wave, superior to any lithium-ion battery-equipped backup!!

NOT Lithium-ion Battery
Buyer beware. This item does NOT have a Lithium-ion battery as described. It is the typical Lead Acid battery that is found in all APC devices. $599 would have been a pretty good price if it had a Lithium-ion battery, but it is a high price for this product with a Lead Acid battery.
