The Pomodoro technique
Great small timer for using the “Pomodoro” (tomato in Italian) technique for working and managing your time. Basically, this helps you work for a given period (15-25 minutes or a time you set) before reminding you to take a short break of at least 5 minutes. I’ll often focus on a task too long without taking a mental, or physical break such as getting up to stretch. Giving your mind and body a break may increase your productivity, and give you a better idea of how long a task might actually take compared to an over estimation of how much work you can do in a given time period. This timer provides options for setting an audible alarm for both productive (working) and break (resting) periods. A quick overview – six control buttons on top (on/off is on the back) word as follows: M1 (Memory One) zeros out the timer, while M2 and M3add 15 or 25 minutes to the duration respectively. Other buttons let you add individual minutes or seconds, and control the audible alarm sound (On/Off).I’ve been using it for a short while and already appreciate it. If you want to make sure you’re getting a break at regular intervals, and perhaps have more clarity while working, this is a great little timer. The only minor drawback – for me – is that it charges via USB and lacks replaceable batteries. I prefer non-disposable items, but after an unknown time (years?) the internal battery will stop holding a charge. Of course you may be able to just leave it plugged in all the time during use, but that may be a long term issue for some that want to use this for “remote” study periods. I’m rating this at 4.5 stars, but rounding up to 5.

Great for implementing Pomodoro!
I have problems focusing on doing what needs to be done, especially my grad school work. This timer is a great tool for helping me implement Pomodoro. It has three presets you can adjust (I do 25-5 intervals). It looks nice on my desk and has a big, bright display. it also charges via USB-C. Overall, this timer is an excellent tool for helping the unfocused get down to work and get things accomplished!

Lot’s to like but far from perfect
I was looking for a small Pomodoro timer to carry around with me since I change workstations somewhat frequently throughout the day. This little timer is about the right size, but a bit too thick (deep) to be conveniently pocketable. I like the design, reminds me of a mini microwave, and the buttons on top are intuitive and wholly adequate for operation even without looking. I’ll not for some reason that if the timer stop and switches off, to set it again with one of the presents you better press the button twice, because the first press may reset it to the prior time value, and not the value of the button (M1-M3) that you just pressed to turn it on. Not a big problem. The timer can be used in stopwatch mode by pressing the start/pause button when the timer is set to 0, a nice feature to have. The beep was too loud for my needs and there is no adjustment, but a piece of masking tape over the speaker area dampens the sound quite well. There is a power switch on the back that I don’t see much sense for, but it’s there. And of course the best feature of this timer is the USB-C charging port…no more battery swapping! There’s a lot to like about this timer and the price is not bad. Would have just liked if it was a bit thinner and had a volume adjustment. Maybe a brightness adjustment too, as it get’s really bright when you interact with a button…like, super bright. I’ll keep looking for a better pocket timer but I probably won’t find one.

Perfect desk timer
This Pomodoro timer is just what I’ve been needing to keep me on track while doing desk work. I love the USB charge feature. My desk lamp has a USB port, so charging is convenient. So far, after a month’s use, it is still charged. I don’t use the alarm, so maybe that’s why I’m getting a longer battery life. I like the small size and easy-to-read numbers. I also like that the settings are on top and self-explanatory. The default settings are a must-have convenience.

Battery life is terrible
I love the programmable memory features, simply turn the device on, press and hold one of the memory buttons until it flashes, then set the time. Unfortunately, the battery life is the weak point here. The device appears to have a parasitic drain issue as I fully charged the battery and after a week of sitting on my desk with zero use and the switch on the back turned to “off”, the battery is nearly dead. My only other complaint is the beeper is very quiet.

Rechargeable desktop timer – well made, easy to use, charge lasts long.
This little desktop timer is well designed and quality made. Simple, user friendly buttons, rechargeable for convenience, and large clear display. Any electronics I get from now on are rechargeable. And so far I have never had any issues with battery life. This simple little timer is no different. I’ve been using this for almost a year now and I rarely ever have to charge it. And it still works while plugged in while charging so it’s never out of commission. Very happy with the quality and functionality of this timer! Definitely recommend!

Nifty timer, but battery life is too short
I’ve wanted a dedicated pomodoro timer for a while, and this mostly fits the bill. The numbers are bright and it’s easy to use. The times on the M1, M2, and M3 buttons are programmable, which is a convenient feature if you don’t like the default settings. My main gripe is that the battery life seems quite short, requiring me to use it plugged in most of the time. It also seems to revert to the default times on the M1, M2, and M3 buttons whenever the battery runs down completely. I’d like to be able to change the alarm sound to a more mellow tone — the alarm is pretty strident. Fortunately, the alarm can be disabled and you’ll be alerted instead by the numbers flashing at you. In short, it’s a decent pomodoro timer with some room for improvement.
