Winner for me
I have had item since 8/19/2025 and so far so good. I use mine primarily as timers for my grow lights. I like how when you plug it in, it hangs downwards so I don’t spill water into the outlet. I use my bar for my plants grow lights and accidentally literally fried my last one. It was a timer power strip like this and I searched high and low. I stumbled across this..read everything, saw the low rating amd tried it anyway. Easy to install, paired/ connected within seconds to SmartLife App which in turns pairs with my Alexa. Zero issues with the machine and setting up timers, etc. in the app is quick. I see myself returning when I need another strip. So..go for it..give it a try! I’m glad I did.

Works well as a plug. The smart feature is nice as well. I like that there’s different sections so you can control devices individually. It was easy for me to get set up and i like that it’s saved same space the way it plugs in to the wall. Overall I think it was a good value.

I followed directions exactly and it erased every smart device I had installed previously. Now I have to totally redo all my devices. All. SOB. Major PITA.

Versatile powerstrip!
The Bototek Smart Power Strip is a reliable, budget choice for expanding outlets with smart control, excelling in versatility and safety for home or travel. It’d design allowed for a bit of play on it making it perfect (at least for me) to put right behind the futon. It’s compatible with Google Home, allowing for oulet control, did not try Alexa. The lack of USB ports and minor app quirks hold it back slightly, but it’s a solid pick for managing multiple devices. Recommended for dorms or offices with basic smart needs.
