Absolutely great! They are very well made and durable, easy to connect and set up. They are your basic white with a bright flashing light when active. Not worth the risk
Of all the cheap junk peddled on Amazon, I don’t think I’ve ever run into a product that is actually dangerous. After installing and setting up these “smoke detectors” last night, we noticed while cooking dinner that they didn’t so much as beep once. Our old detectors would beep if we didn’t open the back door.Today I went out of my way to see if these worked. I blew out a candle and held it up as it smoked – nothing. I lit an incense right by the detector – nothing. Finally, (with a fire extinguisher on standby) I held a piece of paper towel up to the detector, blowing every couple of seconds to create smoke – it did absolutely nothing.I know these are tempting because they are cheap, but when it comes to the safety of your family and your home, don’t buy junk from fly by night Amazon sellers.I would also like to mention, of the 12 detectors I ordered, 1 arrived in non-working condition. Doesn’t really matter at this point as I plan to return them all.
