Cycling Heart Monitor
I was in the market for a new Heart rate monitor for my cycling need. In searching for one on Amazon, I came a cross COOSPO. What attached to me was the pricing and the company name. I came a cross their model HW9. In comparing with a similar spec if I were to stay with Garmin I would paid more than 2x more. I didn’t really look into feed back from other buyers but nothing was concerning. It was better price but not dirt cheap. I also liked the design. I was curious too because it was an armband instead of a chest strap. My main use was for cycling. My biggest worry was will it connect with my Garmin 830 computer, but not only did it connect, the setup was seamless. As for the specs and extra features with the heart monitor, I would encourage everyone go to the website and educate yourself to take advantage of the feature. I also wanted to emphasize I felt very comfortable while I was riding in fact I like it better as a armband because it does not soak up my sweat compare to a chest strap. Another plus is the unit comes with an extra strap and a charging cable. Again if anyone wanted to dig deeper in the specs and feature go to the company website. One thing I noticed the strap size is a medium I wasn’t aware when I purchased it. It could matter if your arms is bigger. I also bought their cadence sensor BK9C because I wanted one for my trainer. I would rate it a five stars too. I would definitely try out other products this company offers in the future.

Accuracy matches Osrom blood pressure and heart rate cuff
The monitor is comfortable on my upper forearm and very easy to use–one button for on and off. It was easy to pair with my Specialized Mastermind H3 bike computer as well as the Specialized iPhone app. I compared my heart rate on the HW9 to my heart rate cuff (Osrom BP785)–with both on my arm at the same time–and the results matched within one beat per minute.I downloaded the Heartool app and it shows BPM (of course) and has some workout tracking. It also has the ability to send heart rate data to the Apple Health App. In addition, it shows the percentage of battery charge, which the monitor itself doesn’t do except for a warning when the battery has less than 10% charge. I didn’t download the CoospoRide app because my Specialized app does all I need.I looked at lots of monitors on Amazon before deciding on this one, and I feel like I made a great choice.

This is NOT an upgrade of the HW807 READ!
Me and the wife joined a gym and several months ago she purchased the Coospo HW807 and I liked what it could do. Impressed with it I decided to buy my own. I purchased this, the HW9 believing its the newer model. It Is Not! While it has the same sensors as the one my wife purchased, it has no internal memory. My wifes HW807 stores the workout data that can be downloaded into the phone later. Mine cant do this. All this does is transmit to the phone app. Unlike my wife, I have to be connected to the app and have it running my entire workout. Bit of a bummer that the older cheaper unit is better than this one.Just a word of warning. Buy the HW807 its cheaper and has the feature that made me buy this one. (A FEATURE THIS ONE DOES NOT HAVE.)In Picture, My band on the left, Wifes band on the rightSeveral months down the road I intend to buy the 807 after its safe to tell the wife this one was in an “Accident”

Great Arm style HR monitor
Replaced another brand monitor that was losing sync during bike rides. This Coospo fits well on my forearm. Stays puts. Adjusts easily. Works with my Garmin bike computer, my iFit machines and my android phone. Had an app but I haven’t needed to use it. I believe it lets you export captured HR data to email in TCX format. But all Coospo devices I have work well. This HR is great so far.

Accurate Heart Rate Monitor. I am very pleased with this product
Love this heart rate sensor. Pairs easily with my Coospo CS500 Computer which uploads all the info to Strava. The color changing light in real time is awesome and the battery lasts forever. I have tons more info now that helps my training for Triathlons

So far so good! Nicer than a chest HRM!
I’d been using the Polar H10 chest HRM since August 2022. It worked fine for the most part, other than a few instances of the battery compartment being wonky and giving inconsistent readings until I fiddled with the flexible contact inside.Well, it finally annoyed me for good recently when it started to freeze on a BPM for several seconds before dropping/rising immediately. It would do this every few seconds and my BPM readings were always wildly off. I tried everything I could think of to remedy this and figured, after reading tons of similar stories online, it was best to just move on finally and buy something new.I grabbed the COOSPO HW9 Optical HRM and have been using this with zero issues so far. Since it uses optical sensors (like a smart watch), there’s no need to wet it first or apply electrode gel. You simply place it around your forearm or your upper arm (bicep). It has its own app but I prefer using the Polar Beat app so I can see the nice colorized graph in real time. That’s what’s cool about the COOSPO HW9, it connects to pretty much any HRM app (including PULSOID if you want to show your HR while streaming online). All I had to do was turn it on, go into Polar Beat, remove the Polar H10 from my paired devices list, and the COOSPO HW9 immediately showed up and I was able to pair it right away.In order to test the accuracy of it, I have used it in conjunction with the continuous HRM feature of my Galaxy Watch 4 as well as testing it by comparing my heart rate with my Galaxy S10+’s HR measuring feature and the COOSPO has been spot-on for me.A cool feature this thing has is that it has an indicator light on it that changes color based on which BPM range you’re currently in. It’s especially helpful once your heart reaches 180bpm because the light turns red and the armband vibrates a couple times. That’s been helpful when I play because it reminds me to focus on breathing and calming down during whatever song I’m playing that has my heart rate getting so high. If you use the Heartool app, you can change the HR alert value to something other than 180bpm.Anyway, just wanted to give this thing a shoutout for anyone looking for their first HRM, a replacement, or an alternative to a chest HRM. This one is pretty comfy to wear, far better than the Polar H10 to me (which would bunch up on my sides and back). I also like that it has an internal battery that you charge with a magnetic charger (it’s recommended to charge it by connecting it to a laptop/computer or DC 5V power adapter).

Great value for an excellent heart rate monitor. Does what it needs to do, highly accurate, pretty straight forward with no extra bells & whistles. Easy to connect with my Polar Flow App & Polar watch, with relatively long battery life.
