    Definitely worth the purchase….
So I’ve been having a lot of trouble here recently getting up and going in the morning but it’s mainly the waking up part. I was talking to a co-worker about it and she suggested I order a hatch because she got one and she loves it, so I got on Amazon and ordered mine right then. It came roughly two hours later, I was so impressed by the sleekness of just the box alone not to mention the actual alarm clock. I set it up and the setup was definitely very easy, one thing that I have taken a note of is how sometimes the app doesn’t connect to the clock right and there’s some delays but I’m hoping they can fix it with an update. I realized right away that to get the sounds I wanted I had to pay the subscription which is annoying but I believe it’s only $5 every month so definitely not the worst. You can customize pretty much anything on the app and that’s what I love most, the weight of the product is very light considering how advanced it looks. The quality to me is really good, kinda like you just spent $160 on a speaker. The noise level is just based off your personal preferences, I’m a heavy sleeper so I turn it to basically full volume. They also have a heavy sleeper playlist which I appreciate very much, I haven’t used it tho just yet. The brightness you can also put as a personal preference but I will say it’s way brighter in the dark then anything else so I would definitely leave that somewhere in the middle when you go to customize the settings. Overall I would so recommend this to someone and I’m so glad I don’t have to wake up late and frazzled every morning anymore.

My Hatch Restore 3 Review – A Game-Changer for Sleep and Mornings! ★★★★★
I’ve been using the Hatch Restore 3 for a few weeks now, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best purchases I’ve made in a long time. I was hesitant at first because of the price ($169.99 isn’t cheap!), but after seeing it all over TikTok and reading some glowing reviews, I decided to take the plunge. Let me tell you, it’s worth every single penny. This isn’t just an alarm clock—it’s like a sleep coach, a sound machine, and a sunrise simulator all rolled into one sleek, stylish package. I’m obsessed, and I’m giving it a well-deserved 5 stars!First off, let’s talk about the design. I got mine in the Putty color, and it looks so chic on my nightstand. It’s got this minimalist, half-moon shape that doesn’t scream “gadget” but still feels modern and high-quality. The materials feel premium, and it’s not bulky at all—it fits perfectly next to my lamp and books without crowding the space. The dimmable clock display on the front is a nice touch, too. I snapped a quick photo of it in clock mode (attached below), and you can see how clean and simple it looks. I love that I can adjust the brightness so it’s not glaring at me in the middle of the night.Setting it up was super easy. You download the Hatch Sleep app, connect it to your Wi-Fi, and answer a few questions about your sleep habits. The app then suggests routines tailored to you—I got “The Sweet Dreamer” persona, which felt spot-on. It took maybe 15 minutes total, and I was ready to go. The app is so intuitive, and I love that I can control everything from my phone, though the new physical buttons on the Restore 3 make it even better. That “Big Button” on top? Genius. I can start my routine, adjust the volume, or snooze the alarm without fumbling for my phone in the dark. The side buttons for the bedside light and alarm toggle are clutch, too—no more accidentally blinding myself with my phone screen at 2 a.m.!The wind-down features are where this thing really shines. I’ve always struggled to unplug at night (scrolling Instagram until midnight is my weakness), but the Restore 3 has totally changed my routine. My favorite sound is “Light Rain”—it’s so soothing, and it makes me feel like I’m in a cozy cabin somewhere instead of my city apartment. I pair it with a soft orange light, and it’s like an instant signal to my brain that it’s time to relax. There’s a huge library of options—ocean waves, meditations, even bedtime stories! I don’t have the Hatch+ subscription yet (it’s $5/month after the free trial), but even the free content is impressive. I’m tempted to upgrade just for the extra podcasts and soundscapes. Then there’s the sunrise alarm. Oh my goodness, this is a game-changer. I used to wake up to my phone’s blaring alarm and feel groggy for hours, but now I wake up to a gentle, warm light that gradually brightens my room. I set it to start 30 minutes before my alarm, and by the time the birds chirping sound kicks in, I’m already half-awake and feeling refreshed. It’s not harsh or jarring at all—it’s like the sun is personally waking me up. I’ve noticed I’m hitting snooze way less, which is a miracle for someone like me who used to slap that button five times every morning. The sound quality is fantastic, too. The speaker is clear and crisp, whether I’m playing white noise or a guided meditation. It’s not tinny like some cheap sound machines I’ve tried in the past. And the light options? So fun! You can pick from all these dynamic colors—pink, blue, purple—or stick with a solid glow. I’ve been using it as a reading light some nights, and it’s perfect for winding down with a book instead of staring at a screen.I’ll admit, I was skeptical about whether this would actually improve my sleep, but it’s exceeded all my expectations. I fall asleep faster, sleep more soundly, and wake up feeling energized instead of grumpy. My wife even commented that I seem less stressed in the mornings, which is a huge win. It’s not wireless (you need to plug it in), but the cord is long enough that it hasn’t been an issue for me.If you’re on the fence about the Hatch Restore 3, just go for it. It’s an investment in your sleep and sanity, and it delivers on every promise. I’ve already recommended it to all my friends, and I’m thinking about getting one for my mom as a gift. It’s that good. Check out my photo below of it in clock mode—it’s simple but so effective. I can’t imagine going back to a regular alarm clock after this!

Improved my sleep and reading habits!
I bought the Hatch 3 thinking it would be a nice gadget, and it ended up being one of the more useful additions to my bedroom. The little dot-matrix time display is subtle and readable, and the whole unit gives off a soft, warm glow that actually makes my bedroom feel calmer.Sound-wise it’s excellent. There are several soundscapes that aren’t cheesy or overly electronic. I use them both to fall asleep and to read in bed. The sounds are textured enough to fill the room without being distracting, so I’ll either drift off or actually get into a chapter of a book instead of doomscrolling. The Hatch has cut down the time I spend on my phone at night because I either fall asleep faster with the sounds or I’m able to focus on reading instead of opening another app.Morning wake-up with the light is nicer than a blaring alarm. The light ramps up gently and feels like waking up in a sunrise instead of being yanked out of sleep. It’s enough to get me moving without putting me in a bad mood first thing. The alarm tones are clean, and pairing tone plus light makes mornings less jarring. If you are a heavy sleeper, they do also have very loud alarm tones that will get you out of bed!Overall: beautiful design, very usable sounds, and it actually changed my bedtime habits for the better. If you want something that looks good on a bedside table and helps you stop staring at your phone at night, the Hatch 3 is worth checking out.

Very disappointing. The hardware is good but the app is unusable. There is a lot of potential in this product but they will only realise it when they throw out the current app and rebuild it with ease of use and flexibility in mind. Honestly this industry is begging for a competitor to come in and show us how this can be done well. Unfortunately Hatch is not that (yet? 🤞). I’d love to return my Hatch 3 and wait for that competitor, maybe they never come but this $200 disappointment is not bringing me any joy.

Cumple su propósito como despertador? Si. Para pagar más de 200 USD? No. Un producto tan caro no puede tener un problema con que los números se encimen en ciertas combinaciones. Escribí a Soporte Técnico. Nadie se molestó en responder.

    Heeft GEEN Europese stekker!

  7. Faisal Al-mutairi

Misleading pictures. You have to keep the device plugged into the power socket all the time, which is very inconvenient. The app has a lot of non-free features XD, and you have to keep your phone and WI-FI connected all the time. worst purchase in a long time.

  8. Kirstie

Nice clock. Looks good. Has great features for waking up and preparing to sleep. Has good anytime ambience. No complaints on the clock itself. Not a fan of subscription for extra sounds effects etc. although can be used without. The subscription adds to it. For price of the clock I feel the whole app should be included. But it still is worth it to me.
