Easy to use, continuity good & good value!
Works as advertised, easy to install & continuity good! Used it to shield my guitar’s entire body cavity. Not too thick & about as big as duct tape. Used almost half the roll and felt like I used a lot, so I think you get a lot for the money you pay.

Great foil tape! Used to shield my guitar control cavity.
Good quality, worked great to shield the cavity of my guitar. Adhesive is conductive as advertised, great continuity as measured with my Fluke meter. Thin enough to cut with standard scissors. Forms to irregular surfaces pretty easily, backing peels easily. Cuts readily with X-Axto knife after installation. Overall easy to use.Enough on a roll for 2 to 3 guitars.

Perfect for guitar cavity shielding!
This stuff worked perfectly for me. I recently finished up a partscaster build with single coil pickups. I was left with a beautiful looking guitar, but I was experiencing some really annoying static pop and feedback. After doing some research, I knew the next step was to shield all of the cavities. I used this copper tape to shield all of the cavities on the guitar and the end result was a totally silent guitar with no more feedback or crackle! I was beyond thrilled! If you need to shield cavities on your guitar build, this stuff is absolutely worth it!

The Best Tape to Shield an Electric Guitar
The conductive adhesive on the copper tape will shield the pickup and control cavities and back of a pickguard and isolate the guitar from unwanted hum and noise. Copper tape, in my experience, works better than shielding paint as it’s made with almost zero binder, leaving the dried paint to powder off the surfaces. Copper tape stays where it’s installed and being self-adhesive, it is superior to aluminum foil. Looks kinda “pretty” too!

Perfect for control cavities in electric guitars
The adhesive is conductive as well, which is good, because you can overlap the tape without any issues. I built a Telecaster style guitar from scratch and used this tape in the control cavity because it was a lot cheaper than the black conductive paint that a lot of people use. I‘ve heard that cooper tape works better than the paint anyway. I cut a piece to fit the bottom of the cavity then cut more pieces for the walls of the cavity. Since the adhesive is conductive, overlapping multiple pieces like this is no problem. So, if you are building or repairing electric guitars, this is what you need.

Works as advertised
Easy, effective shielding for single coil pickups. Conductive adhesive, so connectivity is maintained. I did have to drill a hole & add a screw & attach a wire to connect the two cavities in a Telecaster. I attempted to solder the wire directly to the tape, but the tape was too fragile. The net result was silent single coils.

Works very well. Sticky, which is what you want. Glue is conductive, so you can lay one piece over the next and be assured constant connection.
