NOTE: 1. this remote controller requires 2.4GHz, not 5G.
2. It only supports with MOES APP and Smart Life App and does not support Apple Homekit, and SmartThings.
3. The IR and RF functions are applicable to different devices, please refer to the table “New Compatible Brand of IR” for specific devices.
The remote controller will not work properly if the above conditions are not met.

Especially all the functions of it can be configured in the Smart Life App. So you can set the air conditioner temperature earlier before going home. Enjoy it all when you get home.
In addition, MOES IR+RF remote is compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant. A simple voice command can activate the controller to remotely control most Infrared and RF Control Devices. You can say, “Alexa, turn on/off Air Conditioning, turn up/down temperature, set temperature to (value)” etc. (More compatible brands or devices ,please check attached list or Smart Life App.)
If you can not find device brand in Smart Life/Tuya App, DIY learning function may help to copy same function from your original remote. NOTE: DIY controlled devices only support smartphones and are not compatible with Alexa, Google Assistant.

This will not register RF signals.
I tried the Moe’s app, Tuya, Smart Life, and Go Smart. They are all the same app with a different logo. None of them worked.Pairing the device was super quick and easy. Setting up an IR remote was easy. RF however, just didn’t respond. I tried DIY and preset options (roller shades, curtain, projector, etc.). I press and hold the button icon on the app that I want to program, press the button on the actual device remote, and nothing pairs. No change of light status on the app (grey dot at top never turned red) or the hub (blue LED remained solid until the countdown went away, then turned off.) The button icon on the app turned green, but it never actually worked. Trying to program another button just greyed out the first and made the second one green. Testing the buttons didn’t do anything. Finishing set up and trying to use it didn’t do anything.I tried multiple remotes, all within the appropriate Mhz range, all for different devices… Nothing happened. Each app was exactly the same – down to UI and the instructions. I can’t find more detailed instructions on the app or online, so it’s just worthless to me.There are cheaper IR hubs out there. Don’t bother with this, especially if you need RF control.

Works for IR and RF
Works great so far. It doesn’t come with charging brick just cable. I used the Smartlife app and it pairs nicely. Alexa works with IR but not RF (at least with my RF device)When pairing with RF be sure to put in the correct frequency. When mapping the buttons (RF) press remote buttons multiple times rapidly instead of long press.

This is my review of this product, I bought this cuz I have a RF remote window shade and want to use my phone by using this device, at first everything went well until a few days the unit starts to have connection drops, I dont always use my window shade its not an hourly use but the time using it the app cant control or stops, Done several resets, I may have a faulty unit unfurtunately, returning this one and for now I will stick to my RF remote.

This has been my life very convenient! I have a fan and audio system that are controlled by remote and are more or less completely automated now after hooking it up to my Alexa. Seems to have a decent range as well

Does not work for 70% of USA brands
Completely useless product. Advertised as universal however 70% of USA ceiling fans use 304mhtz frequency this device does not even offer it. Incredibly disappointed and let down. Have returned and will not purchase another Moe’s product. I’m beyond upset. What is the point if it doesn’t work for anything
