Affordable Rab Quality! This sensor is packed with features!
This security light is super easy to install. The included mounting plate has a quick connect to pop the actual light on. So no worries having to hold the light and wire it at the same time. Sensor detects a good range— I like the 160 degree range. Multiple options for light color temp, brightness, time once activated, and dawn/dusk adjustment so you can get it to come on lighter or darker. The manual override is also a nice feature which allows you to manually override the motion detector and it will stay on a specified amount of time then reset at dawn. The lights are adjustable without tools involved. I have used many Rab sensors. Rab makes excellent products. Would highly recommend this light to anyone over any brand at the box home improvement store. Overall an aesthetically pleasing fixture. 10/10!!

Im certified installer..out of 37 years placing light.this light stand behind its name…my company only will purchase anything it can back up…..but today China makes even us and robots….Rabb won’t stamp their name if it didn’t meet their long time good reputation..This is also on the shelf in my reputable supply stores….so if your a home owner and ot aware.this works magnificent

Easy to Install
As a handyman, I seek out quality products for my customers. This light fixture is easier to install than older models. The unit separates so you do not have to hold the light in place awkwardly to try and wire it or screw it in. You wire and install the base plate first then snap the fixture onto the base plate. It comes with a foam seal to help prevent any leaking. The controls are easily accessible on the bottom and very straight forward. Sleek design is a bonus. The only thing I did not like is there are no written instructions in the box. You need to utilize the QR code on the box. I hate reading instructions on my phone, but this becoming more common.

Plastic Junk
I bought an RAB sensor and light a few years ago, and it has worked extremely well. It is solid build quality: powder coated steel covers and housing along with a great sensor. No bulbs, were included with the old one, but that’s an advantage since new bulbs can be inserted as needed. This RAB LU160 is expensive, plastic junk. Might as well pick something up at the hardware store: there’s plenty of junk there for less money.

Very Good Quality Flood Light
I installed the RAB LU160W motion spot light a month ago. The design and build quality is very good. Installation was also easy. So far, the RAB seems to be worth the extra money. I give it high marks for the sleek design, build quality, adjustment features, and especially for the easy to use control settings.
