Comfortable Drafting Chair with Useful Features
This chair works well with a standing desk. My desk has motorized height adjustment for use with a standard chair, but it never felt quite right. After checking reviews, I ordered this drafting chair. It’s not quite tall enough to eliminate the need for desk adjustments, but it bridges the gap between sitting and standing nicely.Features:Assembly was straightforward and took little time.I chose black—always a safe choice.Comfortable overall, with swing-up arms that add flexibility.Height adjustment works fine, though I need it at the highest setting.Seat tilt and lock are useful additions.Wheels roll smoothly on my floor mat.Challenges:The material feels durable, but the ribbed armrests can irritate my elbows after a while.The instructions omit a key detail about the footrest. At first, it kept slipping down, but I discovered a notch below the knob. Rotating the footrest until the notch aligns with the metal plate on the rubber tensioner (there are at least two) solved the issue. Since then, the footrest has stayed in place.Overall, it’s a sturdy, comfortable chair with thoughtful features.

The chair assembles in about 25 minutes, no issues. Directions are well-written and clear. One extra fastener of each type is included in case one is misplaced during assembly. Only one tool is required and it is included. The components feel well-engineered.My particular shipping box was dropped, probably off the back of a truck. It was smashed really good. Somebody added a bunch of tape mid-shipment to hold the box together. However, the chair’s components are so robust none were damaged.It is very comfortable.I’m 71″ tall. Good range of height adjustment. The seat is adjustable from 23″ to 30″ above the floor (an actual measurement).My workbench is 36″ high. The lowest height adjustment is about 1″ too low, the highest adjustment is far too high. This Hylone would make an outstanding pub chair, but I have forgotten the standard height of a bar.The foot ring adjusts easily and seems robust.Fabric is some kinda breathable material, so no worries about it getting sticky in humid climates.The arms swing up and out of the way further than I expected. Movement is smooth yet firm.The gas cylinder, tilt-lock and tilt-tension adjustments work very well.The wheels roll effortlessly and quietly. My concrete basement floor has a gentle slope, gravity slowly pulls the chair exactly to the center of the drain every single time – no matter where I place the chair – remarkable. A couple square feet of thin carpeting under the chair prevents gravity from winning.I’m satisfied with the entire experience, something that does not often occur.

Need better casters
Chair was built much better than I expected. I have a similar one at my office and this one is sturdier and more comfortable. The only dissapointment was the casters. The photo wasn’t clear, but looked like double rollers. But they are single sharp edge casters that are cutting into the plastic floor floor protecter that I bought to cover the long carpet. Not sure what I am going to do to eliminate the problem. Can’t afford a glass cahir mat. The casters may need to be replaced with double edge ones that distribute the weight better.

This is a fabulous chair with a great deal of flexibility
I am a professional artist and I use this chair in one of my art studios It is an absolutely fabulous chair that is quite sturdy and has a great deal of flexibility up and down.When buying this chair you have to be ready to spend a little bit of time putting together the instructions are very clear, but it takes some time, but the reward is a fabulous chair. Just be sure to read the instructions carefully because they tell you exactly what to do and if you’re a guy like me, don’t skip the instructions it’ll just make you work harder but once the chairs together, it’s absolutely fabulous and all the parts fit perfectly. There were no issues whatsoever and the quality is definitely there.I have an incredible chair in my other studio where I buy another one of these. This was available many years ago when I bought my last studio chair, I would’ve bought this.

Comfortable craft chair
This chair is quite comfortable. It is made from quality materials. Putting it together was not too difficult for 1 person. The back support is great! I am very happy with the tilt back and the overall functionality as the chair seat has many different position options.

Quality Chair
So far, I am pleased with this chair. I purchased this item more as a “gaming” chair rather than for an office setting. So, it is unlikely I will sit in it for long periods of time like a traditional office chair. It was relatively easy to put together, and the materials felt sturdy and of decent quality for what it is. I do like the rubber casters as it reduces the noise when moving it, and I am not concerned of damaging the hardwood floors. It is comfortable to sit in, and it rises to a decent height if needed. For a short term review and initial impressions, I am pleased with this. However, time will tell how the cushion and the gas cylinder holds up over time.

I was hesitant to purchase this chair because of the price tag compared to others online, but after reading reviews decided it was worth a shot. This chair is great! Very comfortable to sit in. Arms (which are foldable) are at a great height for myself and my husband. The wheels are amazingly smooth and quiet when rolling around. It was easy to put together and came with all the required tools. Delivery was quicker than estimated date.
