I Like This Best With Direct Application VS Stand- Remote A Bit Odd But Not Deal Breaker
I have had some great results with red light therapy but many of the items I have are either way too small or big for some areas of my body. I got this to help.WHAT I WANTED THIS FORThis was mostly for larger area coverage which my other belts and pads don’t cover well. I won’t tend to use it on the stand at this point, but that could change in the future.PADThe pad is nice because it sticks in the backing for stand light, but to use on the body, it peels off of the backing nicely and allows for use directly on the body on the lower setting. This is what I wanted it mostly for.INSTRUCTIONSThe instruction book seems to be clear and easy to follow, although I wish it had more explanation of what situations work best with each type of setting. That will have to be obtained through independent study.REMOTEThe remote is easy to use with the AAA batteries included in the package. It is easy to use once you get the hang out of it. I suggest making a copy of the remote diagram and paste it onto the back of the remote. I find it easier to use it that way until I got the hang of it. The only issue I have is that the remote goes dark so it is tough to know the countdown of timer which is frustrating.PLUGThis HAS to be plugged into a wall outlet and does not provide for running off of a power bank. I have had to use an extension cord to adequately address my body when sitting in my recliner. The plug is a pretty large transformer box so you will have to be sure you have room if you are using an outlet strip.PERFORMANCEI have the experience of using this on my legs, thighs, abdomen, and other larger areas. So far it seems to be working well and provides pain relief. Storage in the box will stay with the stand and backing. I will probably keep the basic mat and plug in a sack that I have. Loosely rolled and secured it stores pretty well as long as it is not rolled up tightly. Flat is best though. The timer does not always work well so I am working on figuring out the best way to use this.THE BOTTOM LINEI like this best on the low settings directly on the body.MY RATINGFIVE STARS. ahtough I was tempted to give this at 4 stars due to the remote glitches I have had to work around once in a while. It is a pretty good value but I am unsure how it will perform over time. I will update if there is anything else to add as time goes on with me using this.

Great red light therapy for broader body, but wish you could choose other colors
I love the concept of this light, to give more coverage with light therapy. But it is quite bulky and heavy. If you have room for this, great! It’s pretty easy to set up. I’m slightly h disappointed that it doesn’t get other light color/wavelength options. For example, I would have loved it you could switch to blue light which is beneficial for acne.

Easy Access To Red Light Therapy
I’m in my 60s, and I workout at the gym on a regular basis. Now that I’m older, It takes me longer to recover after working out, and my joints hurt. I also have an injury to my right ankle and that is painful and swells sometimes. I have been using a red light pad that you can wrap around an appendage for about two years. I find that red light therapy feels good, and I have seen some improvement with regular use in my right ankle. When I saw this light I was thinking this would be a great way to get access to red light easily without having to get out my pad and plug it in and wrap my area (and in fact this pad can also be used as a wrap). I’m a little lazy, and I liked the idea of having ready access to the red light right from my recliner. That way I will use it consistently in the evenings when I watch a little TV. The instructions say to position the lamp 6 to 12 inches from the target area. So with the cantilevered lamp I can get it very close to my leg and ankle easily. I really like how sturdy the light feels. The remote took me a little time to get use to, but it was nothing too difficult. The only issue I had was that I thought the timer was not working/shutting off the lamp. I would see the timer go to 0, but the lamp would still be on. What I didn’t realize is that when you put in, for example, 5 minutes, it immediately goes to 4 and counts down to 0 and a minute after it turns to 0 it shuts off. So a little patience made me realize it is working. In the future I plan to try this on my scalp for hair growth, my face for anti aging (it’s nice they provide glasses to protect your eyes), and all over during meditation. I like the versatility of this lamp, and the quick access to red light when it’s right next to my recliner.
