Very nice RLT device. Well made and attractive, great Bontanny quality.
From what I can tell, this particular RLT (Red Light Therapy) device isn’t currently available, which is a shame. At $150, it was well priced, and I think it would be a great investment for almost anybody, but especially for those who are new to RLT. It can tr eat a wide range of ai lments or he alth concerns, so should it become available again, I would certainly recommend it. It is super simple to set up. I have another RLT panel device very similar to this (and actually also sold by Bontanny), but it was much heavier and more complicated to set up. This guy is practically ready to go right out of the box. It comes with a power cord and adapter, as well as a pair of safety glasses. Wearing the glasses is a very good idea, in my opinion, because boy, oh boy–this thing is BRIGHT! I am fairly certain that my other panel device can be adjusted for brightness or strength, so it’s kind of surprising that this one seems to only offer one level. The treatment session time can be customized, though, so there’s that. You can choose to enjoy a session with Red Light Only, Near Infrared Only, or both Red Light AND Near Infrared Light together. I tend to use them both together for maximum benefits, but the instruction booklet that comes with this device offers some guidelines. For skin concerns or better sleep, Red Light Only is recommended, whereas Near Infrared Only is great for jo int pain, br ain he alth, or to boost te stosterone. Both types of light therapy can be used together for mu scle re covery or we ight lo ss. While the instruction booklet is helpful in some ways, it is a bit odd that it says it is meant for the BR+ BL Series. Those lines are apparently all table stands, much like this unit, but its model name is BO- 300P. That means it isn’t even covered by this instruction booklet! It’s kind of strange.That little weirdness aside, this is a very good RLT machine. The control panel is on the front of the unit instead of on the side like my other unit. That’s very accessible and easy to use, but it is difficult to see the controls while the lights are on. Fortunately, you can switch modes while the lights are off, but that can be a little less convenient. This device is heavy, but lighter than others, and it folds up and is very compact when not in use. One standout feature is the wide angle range of the folding stand. It allows you to position the lights to cover almost any desired treatment area very easily, all the while holding your light panel sturdily and securely.This is a powerful and–not for nothin’–attractive device. It’s well priced, or was when it was available. I hope it will become available again, but perhaps with a redesign to better position the control panel and an updated instruction booklet. Four stars for now.

I have finally hit that age where something always seems to ache, sometimes for no apparent reason. I got a red-light therapy wand for my dog when she was suffering from arthritis and it seemed to work well on this human too. This red-light wall it much bigger and a lot heavier than the dog’s wand, though still light enough to move around easily.The cord is very long which is nice and gives you plenty of options of where to put it. Since this product can focus on various parts of the body, a long cord comes in handy. The cord has one of those big batteries attached to it like a laptop so I am guessing this takes a lot of power to use.This comes with your own blackout glasses to protect your eyes from the red light and a case to store them in. You will need them because the red light is very bright. I could not see anything with them on, but definitely could tell when I turned the red light on. The blackout glasses remind me of the protective glasses you get at the tanning booth, but these have an adjustable strap to keep them on your face. It is very hard to see with these on (it turns off automatically when the timer runs out), so make sure you know where the on button and do not plan on doing much else while using the red-light besides listening to music/podcast/audiobook. But you only need to wear the glasses if the target area is your face. There is also an infrared setting that does not need glasses.The instruction booklet is very helpful in determining how to use the red-light. It lets you know how long you should use it (granted each one says 10-30 minutes), how often per week, which mode, which area to target, and the distance you should be from the devise. Granted every one suggests you be four to twelve inches from the red-light. There are instructions for skin wrinkles, joint and arthritis pain, weight loss, muscle recover, muscle recovery, sleep and circadian rhythm, brain health and cognitive function, boost testosterone, and thyroid function. Some of the treatments are a fairly big time commitments. One suggests using it for 10-30 minutes, twice a day ,5-7 times per week. So, if you use the max suggested, that is seven hours per week.Overall, I am satisfied with this product. And with the everyday aches and pains that comes with old age, I will likely get a lot of use out of it. Especially if most treatments suggest using it most days.
