Change gives me peace of mind
We spend a lot of time traveling in our RV, and safety is always on my mind. I picked up this smoke and carbon monoxide detector, and it’s been a game-changer for peace of mind on the road.It was super easy to install since it’s battery operated — no wiring needed. I mounted it near our kitchen area, close enough to cover the sleeping space too. The digital display is great because I can actually see CO levels, instead of waiting for an alarm.During our first trip with the new detector, it went off once while I was cooking bacon (fair enough!) but otherwise hasn’t given us false alarms. The sound is loud enough to cut through fan noise and definitely would wake us if it ever went off at night.The unit feels sturdy, battery life has been solid, and the display makes it easy to confirm it’s working before every trip. It’s compact enough that it doesn’t stick out like an eyesore in the RV.Bottom line: In an RV, where cooking and generators can create hidden risks, this detector is an absolute must. Excellent monoxide detector
Good carbon monoxide detector; it has everything you need included, even the batteries. It uses 3 AA batteries. There’s a small notch on the back for wall mounting, so it’s just a matter of installing it. You can even mount it on the ceiling, and it will work just as well. It includes a screen that displays the carbon monoxide level, so I feel it’s very reliable. The sound it emits can be heard throughout my apartment. Good quality and affordable, I recommend it.
