I’m a red light enthusiast and have found healing for sore joints by their regular use. There are reputed benefits for eyes and skin, so this one is in the bathroom to use whilst getting ready. Also, red light does not disturb sleep so can be used in the evenings to light bed and bath areas.

Helps To Alleviate Leg Pain
I am always on a quest to find effective, non-pharmaceutical remedies for pain. I read up on red light therapy and decided to give it a try. The Aumtrly Red Light Therapy Lamp with Adjustable Stand looked like a practical way to start. I have been using this under my desk to help with my leg pain. I use it every day, a couple times a day for 15-20 mins. It really does seem to help. It comes with a pair of very dark eyeglasses to protect your eyes when using the lamp on you face. The glasses come in a very nice zippered hard case to keep them safe and clean. I like that the base of the lamp is quite heavy, making it stable under my desk. It hasn’t tipped over. There are no nasty side effects using red light therapy, only benefits. I’m going to try using this on my face next and will incorporate that into my meditation time.

my friends and i spent a decent part of a day recently going back and forth about the amazing benefits of red light. it’s fantastic for healing and general well being. i’ve been using it for spot therapy on my knees, my neck, my abdomen and lower tummy area, and also my scalp to stimulate hair growth. using a lamp or panel allows for hitting a larger area at once, so i love the option. this lamp is a good size – one large bulb with 18 red lights. the base is simple and only one height. it has a standard plug, and an on/off switch at the back bulb holder. recommended use time is 15-20 on any given area – you can use it a couple times a week. it does come with a pair of dark tinted sunglasses – you really only need these if you are using it on your face or surrounding areas. i’ve been using red light therapy for a couple years now – i love it and i will recommend it as often as possible. if you’re a believer or just curious, i think it’s a good lamp for the money.

High Quality Red Light Therapy Lamp
I’ve read about the great benefits of red light therapy on the skin and this is a high-quality red light therapy lamp. It has an adjustable stand which keeps it very sturdy. It has two red light wavelengths which have different benefits. I was afraid it would make my face too hot, but it’s just a nice relaxing warmth. I really appreciate that this lamp came with eye protection so you don’t have to worry about any damage to your eyes. I find myself really looking forward to using it each night because it is so relaxing. Because you have to just close your eyes and enjoy the therapeutic benefits, it forces you to relax. There is no timer so I like to set a timer on my phone so I know when I’m done using it. I haven’t seen the most noticeable results to my skin yet, but I do find it just a very relaxing experience and I’ve really enjoyed using it.

I bought this 2 times. The second one was to replace the first that got knocked over and started to make a buzzing noise. The bulb base came apart. The second one I used for about 8 weeks until last night , I went to turn it on and the bulb did not turn on but the cord almost caught fire. Amazon said im outside the window to return

Good Red Light, Very Bright!
This Red light therapy lamp seems really good, at least upon my initial usings. A few things about it , the bulb itself is pretty heavy, so when you screw it into the socket on the end of the base/stand, be sure to have it centered properly- if it is off to one side, it will tip over. I like the simplicity of this- it is just one switch, either on or off. You can’t separate using the red lights from the near UV lights, they are together. (the UV lights by the way are invisible so you won’t spot them even if they are on. Something that I thought was brilliant about this set is that they included a set of protective glasses and a nice firm eyeglass zip up case for them, they are super dark lenses, similar to solar glasses. You are supposed to use them when “using the light” on your face, and trust me- you will need to!! I didn’t realize this lamp came with that as an extra, so it relieved my anxiety immediately about using this lamp! You don’t really feel any heat from it- you aren’t supposed to really. Just the barest hint of warmth. It is supposed to be 6-12 inches away from your skin. Just plan (if you are going to use this on your face) to be lying with your eyes closed for 20 min. You won’t be able to do anything else during that time, the light is too bright , even with the protective glasses on, so just plan on a nice time of reflection and contemplation. There is no timer on this lamp, you will have to set your own, and also you will have to switch off the lamp yourself when you are done- it doesn’t auto turn off. Overall I really like this so far.

spa day at home
this is awesome. I used to pay to use this at the gym but now I have spa day at home. I have been using it now for a few weeks 3 times a week for about 10 to 20 minutes at a treatment. I shower first to remove any makeup etc from my face. Use the protective eye shields that it comes with and then I lay on the couch with jazz music and scented candle to get the full spa affect. I believe my skin feels softer and I am hoping with continued use fine lines with disappear. I have been researching red therapy. it can be used on scretch marks, acne, legs, arms etc. alot of different uses. The secret is to be consistent to see results. This would be an awesome Christmas gift for the person who loves spa treatments.
