Accurate and Stable
This is a good power monitor. Good wifi connectivity, consistent and accurate power readings. Two stars? It failed in 35 days. To be fair, I had it in a harsh environment, that is hot. It was located in the CB box outside facing the afternoon sun. But that is the reason I selected this one. Note the working temperature is stated to be -20ºC~70ºC. I also had a temp monitor in the same location. The temp regularly reached above 45ºC but never reached 50ºC. So I thought I was cruzin’ until today I found out it failed yesterday afternoon. Possibly if you have a milder environment to install it in it may well serve for a longer time.I’m probably going to try another, locate the electronic housing inside the house and spring for the extended protectionUPDATE: I found the reset button and after disconnecting it for a day. It seems to be good to go again. Besides the one hiccup, it has been reliable and accurate.

Works but integration with Home Assistant is clunky (update)
Update:An update to the original review…So far, the device seems to continue to work, however I notice that graphs in Home Assistant keep showing a high amount of untracked consumption and 1-2 hours later, a reversal/correction in calculated usage each hour. I originally thought this device was dropping off the network occasionally, but I’m seeing information that this sensor’s calculations are not reporting accurately–instead, it’s reporting low by approximately 20-30%. That accounts for the corrections in Home Assistant. I’m looking for ways to compensate for it, however I may need to get a different sensor to get a more accurate reading on my air conditioner’s usage.———-Original Review:I have these connected to my AC system so I could monitor the current and wattage being used on both legs. My AC unit is standard 220/240 most everyone else in residential. Setting it up with the Tuya app seemed pretty straightforward and I do get real time readings from it. However, the description on that says that it works with home assistant if you integrate with to you, that process was extremely clunky. I have many devices in the house, approximately 70 talk to my home assistant server. By far, this one was the most labor intensive. The integration is not direct with the app, it does pull in readings however, the readings are either one leg only of this two channel sensor, or it’s a combined number. I needed readings from both channels and the integration is only see one which is the first one. That said, I followed one of the guys online which involves getting the PRIVATE key password from the unit after a stand for by a utility at the command line. What’s it scanned for it seems to read just fine and for anyone else doing this, look for a python script called tinytuya. That utility helped a lot. Even said though this integration was difficult but once it’s going, it was in lightning to see just how much power my AC unit is using. I got another unit that has 16 channels of circuit breaker sensors, but I did not want to tie up two channels for my air-conditioning unit so I have this separate two channel reader for this purpose.

Great item does the job well for a good price?
If you wanna know what something is drawing in kilowatt hours. In Florida, that’s how we’re billed per kilowatt hour. Very easy to install. It does need a line and a neutral. Connects to the house Wi-Fi and communicates to the app on my phone This allows me to monitor my dock and how much power the boat that’s renting my dock is consuming. But you could move it around to a refrigerator or a dryer. If you wanted to know how much power it is using.Very small so fits inside the circuit breaker panel no problemObviously, if you’re not comfortable working in the panel, you should get somebody that is to install it.

Highly recommend
It is easy to use the Tuya app with the smart energy monitor for remote control, easy setup, and accurate data.I installed it on my solar panel, and this amazing smart energy monitor can measure how much energy is being generated and how much is being saved. It replaces a lot of manual work that used to be necessary. An excellent choice—highly recommended!

Used to monitor well pump cycling.
I use this to monitor well pump use. After placing the current clamp around one of the 220 volt legs of the well pump I can now monitor how many times in a day/month the well pump turns on. Unfortunately, there is no easy way to set an alarm if the pump exceeds a certain number of on/off events in a day or if it consumes over a certain number of Killawatt hours of power. Graph shows two to three pump cycles per day, it would be easy to see if there was a sudden increase in the number of pumping events.

Wiring is Scary!
Important: In my opinion, the instructions are dangerous and wrong! Ask an electrician before installing. I doubt that an install that meets electrical code is possible.Otherwise it works well. WIFI connection is strong and stable. The app is also satisfactory. I use the device to monitor my water pump and was amazed that it worked and the data appears accurate. Now, I can remotely check if the water system has a severe leak. I would give it 5 stars, if a truly safe/code installation was possible.I have tested it and my next step is to install it in a separate generator transfer switch box. I do not think it should be installed in a load center or sub-panel.The unit would be much safer with a USB power supply.

Got this power monitor several days ago. Setup was pretty easy and the app gives me the info I need, like real-time usage. It tracks everything automatically, which is nice — less work for me. Seems accurate so far. Build feels solid and the price was fair. Happy with it overall.
