Works great with Home Assistant
I was looking for an air quality monitor for my office where I spend most of the day and sometimes use my 3D printer. I specifically wanted one that I could connect to Home Assistant and gather metrics that I could use for alerts or other automations, specifically CO2 and VOCs.Set up with the Smart Life app was easy as well as to Home Assistant with the official Tuya integration. The graphs in the Smart Life app are okay, but I like the data graphs and customization in HA better. Overall this is a great price for a monitor that measures so many things and integrates with other platforms.

Worth to buy
So far I’ve been used it for two weeks. Here’s some updates: 1 the whole screen is clear, easy to understand. 2 The number is accurate, the change of the air quality is working good. The CO2 high when it’s night time. The sensor is very sensitive to the change(window opened or closed). For it’s price, I think it’s a good product.

Good quality AQI sensor – pretty satisfied customer
This seems like a good quality device. I like the color high-res LCD, sensors, FW updates and good Wifi support. Pairing it with SmartLife was easy and efficient but I wish it also had Google Home support so you can read/control via smart speakers or the Google Assistant – that should be very easy for this company to add via a SW update (same for Alexa, ITTT, etc.) I am reducing one star because of the deceptive “18-in-1” marketing – I don’t know how they got to this count, there are roughly 8 sensors here, not 18, but the product description was otherwise accurate.I didn’t test it in battery mode since I plan to always it keep it plugged in. Other reviewers mentioned difficulty connecting the USB-C cable but I found it pretty minor, unless you plan to regularly plug and unplug this device.

Great value, but you need the app to really bring out it’s best features.
I really like this product, though the screen is very thin and when I pulled the tab to take the film off, the screen started to move.Also the battery doesn’t last 24 hours, so keep it plugged into a power source.But other than that it worked great. Setup was a breeze, I just used the QR code from the manual, downloaded the app, and then it synched up the time and date and the wifi settings.The colors are nice and I didn’t do anything to set it up except change the units from SI to US. The display is very readable and the light level is adjustable in the app.This is a great value, and I highly recommend it.Some cons:The app wants you to subscribe to push notifications via SMS or some other thing.The max alarm levels could allow for higher values. My air goes between 0-500 AQI on a given day but the alarm max is 150 so I just disabled all the alarms except low battery.You can control the screen on/off and time out settings from the app. It’s nice, because at night I like my bedroom to have zero light and this way I don’t have to move it.

good design, inconsistent readings
there’s a lot to like about this monitor, but falls short on some important things.pros:- nice size and design- the screen is very clear and dims after awhile- easy to connect to wifi- most of the readings seemed accurate (compared to another monitor – CO2, temp, humidity, etc)- customizable audible alarms for the various settings ! (very nice feature)cons- the TVOC and HCHO readings were inconsistent – either close to zero or close to reasonable values.i got the monitor more specifically for TVOC/HCHO.the first time i did the setup, the TVOC/HCHO readings were basically 0. another monitor i have always had at least some TVOC/HCHO. the next day I tried another “reset” and then all readings matched really well to my other monitor. (there really isn’t any real “reset” for all of the readings, only CO2.) then i later turned on / off again and the TVOC/HCHO readings went back around zero.so i’m not even sure exactly what i did to get reasonable values for TVOC/HCHO. unfortunately, turning the device off/on reset everything and values went back around zero. this was the real let-down for this device – not being able to get consistent values for the items was most interested in. i liked everything else about it.3 stars
